Dhampus Sarangkot Treks Details

The Dhampus Sarankgot trek starts from your Hotel after breakfast in Pokhara. You will drive to Phedi for 30 Minutes. From Phedi, we walk stone steps up to Dhampus village inhabited by the warm-hearted and hospitable Gurung People, one of the paradises of Nepal. During the trek, you will have a rice terrace and the Annapurna Mountain range. This 2 -3 hours climb to Dhampus village.

After lunch, another 2-hour trek continues to Australian Camp for overnight. Australian Camp 2060m is another beautiful village for sunrise, sunset, and Himalayas views. After the breakfast at Australian camp, trek down to Kande, Naudanda, and Sarangkot for another night. Sarangkot lies at an altitude of 1592m. This is another spot to see the sunrise, sunset, Pokhara Valley, and Himalayas view. This mountain sits north of Pokhara overlooking the valley and Fewa Lake. From Sarangkot, the trail is stone steps downhill to the lakeside. You will have lunch in a restaurant on the lakeside and my guide will drop off you at your Hotel.

Daily Itineary

Day1: Pikhara-Phedi-Dhampus-Australia Camp

Our guide and driver will come to pick you up at your Hotel and then drive to Phedi. It is about 30 minutes drive from Pokhara and then we hike to Dhampus (1650m) for Lunch. After that, you will Hike to Australian Camp (2060m, 4 hours walk), overnight at Lodge.

Day2: Australia Camp to Naudadanda Sarangkot

This is the second-day hike. We hiked Australian Camp to Kade. From Kade, drive to Naudanda for 10 minutes. From Naudanda, trek to Sarangkot 3 hours of hiking and overnight at the Lodge.

Day3: Sarangkot to Pokhara Fewa Lake

You wake up early in the morning and then walk to Sarangkot Hill. It is the best place to enjoy wide-reaching sights of the Himalayas along with the sunrise. After breakfast, you hike down to Lake Side in Pokhara. It takes about three hours of hiking.
